The Legislative Retreat
Purpose of the Retreat
This retreat serves as an opportunity to:
- Present your legislative agenda directly to the Shelby County State Legislative Delegation.
- Align priorities across city, county, and state partners.
- Build strategic partnerships that advance shared goals for Shelby County residents.
- Engage in dialogue that helps shape the delegation’s collective legislative strategy for the year ahead.
Who Should Register
Registration is open to:
- Governmental entities (city, county, and state agencies, boards, and commissions)
- Educational institutions (K–12 districts, colleges, universities, and charter networks)
- Community-based organizations and nonprofits
- Business and advocacy groups with public policy or funding priorities
Presentation Guidelines
Each presenting organization will have a dedicated 30 minute time slot to highlight key priorities, funding requests, and policy recommendations.
Presentations should focus on actionable items that require state legislative attention or support.
